There's a lot going on at First Reformed of Cary. The calendar below identifies meetings and other events that occur regularly each week or month. Of course, all details are subject to change.  The best way to stay "in the loop" with regard to such changes, or to learn about newly scheduled events, is to attend the Sunday service, check the announcements page in the bulletin there, and listen carefully during the announcement time near the end of the service.

The "Family Times" newsletter is another great source of "What's Happenin'?" information. The monthly calendar appears toward the end of the newsletter, along with titles for each Sunday's sermon.  

Finally, check for Breaking News items on the home page. If the webmaster learns of any significant schedule changes, they will be posted there. And of course you can always call the church office for information on any event.

                 

 

 

 

Calendar of Recurring Activities

From September through May, the following activities occur regularly every week or month as indicated. Worship services are held on the same schedule year round. Other activities may continue through the summer months on an altered schedule. Unless otherwise noted, the location for all events is the church building.

Sundays

SUNDAY SCHOOL at 9:15am 
        - For 3 year olds thru Adults
        - Starts in Celebration Room, then divides into age-group classes

WORSHIP SERVICE at 11am (Year-Round), Celebration Room
        - Communion, First Sunday each month
        - Mission Sunday, Last Sunday each month

"Children in Worship" at 11am
        - Optional learning/worship service for children
        - Starts in Celebration Room with regular worship service

Fellowship time (snacks, beverages & conversation) following worship most Sundays

Luncheon following worship service, Third Sunday, Celebration Room

GYM (Greater Youth Ministries -- our Youth Group for grades 6-12)
        - Youth meet Second and Fourth Sundays at 6pm, Celebration Room  
        - Youth Counselors meet First and Third Sundays at 5pm  

Mondays

Women's Ministries Meeting, First Monday at 7pm

Tuesdays

"Empty Nesters" dinner, First Tuesday at 6:30pm, area restaurants
Consistory meeting, Second Tuesday at 7:30pm

Wednesdays

Bell Choir Rehearsal 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Celebration Room 
Chancel Choir Rehearsal 7:30pm to 9:00pm, Celebration Room

Thursdays

(nothing scheduled)

Fridays

Meals-On-Wheels Delivery, Fourth Friday at 11am.  Pick up at Resurrection Lutheran Church.  See Nancy Dey to volunteer!   PLEASE!!

Saturdays

(nothing scheduled)
